Key Stage 2 Maths Overview
From dealing with fractions and decimal places to figuring out surface areas and volumes, everything students learn in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 is part of the KS2.
KS2’s SAT Exam consists of 3 papers:
Paper 1: Arithmetic - 30 minutes
Paper 2: Reasoning – 40 minutes
Paper 3: Reasoning – 40 minutes
As student's approach Year 6 we begin to think about their SATs and 11-Plus Exams. It will be the first time students give an externally checked exam, so the nervousness is completely normal. At Primary Plus Maths, that’s exactly what we’re here to help with!
